R. Upgradation of DEI Magneto-Encepahlogram (MEG)
Facility to 15 channels to cover all lobes of the brain (January 31, 2016)
The existing 2-channel
DEI Magneto-Encephalo-Graphy (MEG) facility at Quantum-Nano Systems Centre and
Centre for Consciousness Studies was upgraded to 15-channels and now provides
coverage over all lobes of the brain. It is one of the few such facilities
indigenously fabricated and assembled in the country. The upgraded facility was
Inaugurated on Founder's Day, January 31, 2016, when it was also inspected by a
large number of visitors during the Open Day Session. A glimpse of the facility
and the channels appears below. Financial support received from AADEIs for the
upgradation is gratefully acknowledged.
